What is RSS Good For?
Links to fresh news items and short summaries of articles can be collected from one or more websites or blogs with the help of RSS. By using RSS, it is no longer necessary to browse through the pages of favourite news websites or netlogs several times a day, since users receive information on any new material uploaded via the RSS-reader programme. This programme sends notification in almost real time if something new has been published on the given Internet address.
