  • Info days across the country to accelerate EU payments14 May 2013

    The acceleration of payment for EU co-funded projects is given high priority. For this reason the National Development Agency (NDA) uses all the effort to help the professional and financial completion of the supported projects. To this end, for the Social Renewal Operational Programme (SROP) and the Social Infrastructure Operational Programme (SIOP) the NDA organizes info days with a supportive and monitoring function, in the framework of which general issues arising during the implementation of projects are in focus. details

  • Minor roads across the country on nearly a thousand kilometres are to be renovated14 May 2013

    In the framework of the Regional Operational Programmes almost 280 kilometres of minor roads were renovated in 2012. The 50 road sections have already been completed and the New Széchenyi Plan supported the investments with more than HUF 26 billion. This year works can be started for another 583 kilometres of roads due to the more than HUF 76 billion EU funding. details

  • The funds for the new support period of EEA and Norv Grants are about to be opened14 May 2013

    In the framework of the EEA and Norway Grants about HUF 40 billion support will be made available soon. On the occasion the National Development Agency in cooperation with the Norwegian Embassy in Budapest held a solemn opening conference in the capital. On the event information was provided on the objectives and prospective support from the Grants by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ambassador of Norway to Budapest, and the representatives of the Hungarian Ministry for National Development and the National Development Agency. details

    As of 30th April 2013 Zoltán Petykó, the President of the National Development Agency has resigned on his own initiative, by mutual consent from the office he held since June 2010. details

  • The website introducing EU funded road safety developments has been launched 9 May 2013

    A new website has been launched in order to promote the road safety developments implemented from EU support in the framework of the Transport Operational Programme (TOP). details

    The National Development Agency (NDA) takes the view that the articles recently published in the media, written with the intent to impose pressure and referring to insider information were not created in order to provide transparency. Regarding questions about applications the Agency would again like to draw the attention of the interested parties that the public data of projects granted funding are in all cases available on the NDA’s homepage. details

  • Living conditions for millions of Hungarian citizens can be improved27 March 2013

    In recent years 20 projects have been started all over the country in the framework of the urban social rehabilitation of the New Széchenyi Plan. In total nearly HUF 24 billion EU funding can be spent on the renewal of the underdeveloped quarters in Kecskemét, Hódmezővásárhely, Kaposvár, Nyíregyháza, Debrecen, Győr, Szolnok, Veszprém, Tatabánya, Székesfehérvár, Dunaújváros, Szigetszentmiklós among others and in four districts of Budapest. details

  • Thousands interested in the Open Day of EU Developments27 March 2013

    On the occasion of the European Year of Citizens the National Development Agency started its programme entitled “Open Day of EU Developments - A walk behind the scenes” in order to show how much the European Union membership contributes to the improvement of the living conditions of the citizens. The event received great attention in the entire country and thousands were interested in the programmes. details

  • New rush of applications to calls announced in the framework of the New Széchenyi Plan27 March 2013

    In the first few hours already support requests were sent amounting to four times the budget framework, therefore the National Development Agency (NDA) already on the first day suspended four calls for proposals in the Environment and Energy Operational Programme (EEOP). The new extremely successful calls for proposals offered support in the value of HUF 50.5 billion in three energy efficiency and one renewable energy schemes. At the end of the seven year programming period there is more and more interest in the calls of the New Széchenyi Plan, which increases Hungary’s chances to draw down the complete support budget. details

  • Small and medium enterprises wishing to use consultancy services can still apply for more than HUF 2.7 billion26 March 2013

    Coming closer to the end of the programming period EU funding available for enterprises is provided to a limited extent temporarily. However, in addition to the “traditional” calls for proposals small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can also get support through intermediaries. Examples include the Corporate Consultancy Programme available for the interested applicants until 30th June 2014 the latest. The consultancy services can be used in the legal, marketing, labour or organizational development fields among others. details
